Print every page of a PDF from an iPhone
Tap Print on a PDF inside a web page on an iPhone and you can end up with page one and nothing else. Here is the way round it, and how to print a whole set of drawings from your phone.
Do it now with batchprint.co.ukFree in your browser. Your files stay on your computer.Open the tool →Why only the first page prints
When a website shows a PDF inside the page, Safari can treat it as a picture of the page rather than the whole document, so the print preview shows only what is on screen. Printing the PDF itself, through the phone's share sheet, prints every page.
One PDF
- Open the PDF on its own (in Files, Mail or a link that opens just the PDF).
- Tap the share button, then Print.
- Pick the printer and check the page range and copies in the preview.
A whole set of drawings
- Open batchprint.co.uk on the phone and tap Add files. Choose the drawings from Files, iCloud Drive or Dropbox.
- Check the folders and copies, then tap Print this folder or Print all.
- Each folder is made into one PDF and handed to the phone's print screen. Tap Print, choose the printer, and every page prints.
The same works on an iPad and on Android phones, through Android's print service.
